Partnerships
Northern Knowledge considers collaborations that fit its focus on northern landscapes, natural materials and the ways readers understand places. A suitable proposal should offer a clear reader benefit and a straightforward way to label the work.
Possible collaborations
We consider clearly defined partner placements, sponsored explanatory material, educational collaborations and relevant campaigns. Proposals should state the subject, intended audience, proposed format and any commercial relationship. We do not accept arrangements that disguise promotion as independent editorial coverage.
How partner work is labelled
Paid or partner material is labelled clearly on the material itself. Labels explain the nature of the relationship in plain language. Partner placements remain distinct from independent editorial content, and payment does not determine editorial conclusions or guarantee a favourable assessment.
How to propose a partnership
Use the Contact page and select the partnership option. Describe the proposed placement or collaboration, the organisation involved and any relevant terms. Sending a proposal does not imply acceptance, and no outside organisation is implied by this invitation.
A landscape is more than a view
The shape of the ground, the nature of its materials and the movement of water all leave clues. We take time to notice how they fit together.
